It can be really hard to be a NICU parent. There's a lot of uncertainty and fear about your baby's health. Having a premature baby can be a very difficult and stressful experience. Your baby may not be fully developed yet and need a lot of medical care. They might have trouble breathing, eating, or keeping their body temperature stable on their own.
